general thoughts on Brown?
has roger williams sent out invites
Any specific details on derm at Brown? Are people happy? How would the training compare to programs like Minnesota, UNC, Duke, UMass, etc?
When does Brown interview start and end?
People who interviewed at Roger Williams, what are your thoughts about that email from the PD today? I think it's pretty fucked up to send that ~1 week before ROL is due. It's pretty much the exact opposite of what they said on interview day right?
Damn...this Roger Williams shit is a problem. "For a resident to be considered "displaced," and therefore eligible for a slot transfer on her or his behalf, CMS requires that the resident must have performed activities on the last day of the program that are countable for Medicare GME purposes by the hospital that closed the program. In other words, a resident position is not eligible for a temporary cap transfer if the individual resident was rotating at another hospital on the date of program closure."
We should revive the nice and/or hot ppl on the trail discussion a la 2016 derm spreadsheet!!! AC (resident) at Brown is awesome and cute, also NS (applicant) from UCLA <3
I noticed that Brown hasn't sent out interview invites yet but the calendar says January 5th. I was just wondering how did people find out that January 5 is the date of their interviews.
January 5th according to the DIGA website| thank you, i did see that on the diga website but still unclear where the information comes from. Does anyone know?
shoot sorry i accidentally resolved that-- the comment said "rotator here, got my interview before Thanksgiving" -- well could you please tell us the exact date so we can add it to the Interviews tab? what day did you get the email? Also, can you confirm that there is only 1 interview date?
They had 2 dates last year in late January. Sent invites on 2 days in mid December| that is why I was uncertain about the Jan 5th date as it seems significantly earlier than the dates last year.
Can anyone confirm that Brown only has one interview date (1/5)?
Yes, that was the only interview date specified in the email x2
Has Brown released interviews? (for externals)
What about Utah tho?
Yes, Utah has only 1 interview option (2 day interview)
There is another date for Brown TBA, coming soon
