3 entries❌1. almost pointless to apply here if you aren't a research fellow or have a strong connection. nepotism is worth more than anything else here
❌2. I was offered an away in June and had to decline it because in their offer email they stated that because of the "number of attendings we would be rotating with" we should not expect letters of recommendation nor ask for them.
💬1. seriously, why would ANYONE waste a signal here if you didnt do a RY with the department? 90-100% of their spots go to their own fellows.

Was wondering what people's thoughts were after the Sinai interviews?<regular or research?
Does anyone know how many research fellows are applying from Sinai this year? Wondering how many spots there actually are...<lol, sinai is a basketcase
What is this about a Saudi spot at Sinai? > they take Saudi IMGs consistently.
so on a scale of utsw to stony brook, just how messy is sinai?
Ight people bashin Sinai a lil too hard, just finished the interview, they were nice and recognize their old culture needs to be changed and are working on changing that culture now, and Sinai won't be my first choice but there are supportive faculty there, especially the PD/APD which is a good sign for any program
sinai is going thru some issues right now <omg spill the tea sis!<lets just say heads are rolling after that m&g<good
What's the skinny on Sinai not giving out interviewer names....? no intro video from the residents either?
Mount Sinai interview impressions?
Are we not getting the names of faculty we are interviewing with for Sinai? :/ I guess not? I'm curious why > same
anyone else find it concerning that literally all of sinai's communications come out stupid late at night?
Anyone get a mt sinai schedule yet?
Does anyone know if Sinai is doing kodachromes this year? Heard they have in the past, which is terrifying because I don't remember any derm...<sorry buddy, can't say
Just finished the sinai information session… I have to say, based on all the echo room nonsense, I was pretty surprised. Doesn’t seem malignant at all. I know people keep saying that, but nobody provides any evidence. They have a new chair and new PDs (that are young). I heard that the old PD was kinda crazy, but this group seemed really nice. Big program, lots of clinical sites, but lots of clinical exposure. NYC is a plus or minus, depending on you. Clearly they are recruiting a lot of research and clinical people, so it’s definitely not the same department. They have a 2. Like I said, I was pleasantly surprised. I guess we’ll see what the residents say.
