i'm super confused why so many people here seem to hate on yale compared to the other top 5s...it was my dream program and i ended up matching at another "top 10" but i'm still pretty bummed. even though new haven isn't exactly boston or new york, the residents at yale are consistently the top scorers on boards and more PDs have come from yale than anywhere else. not that harvard, NYU, Stanford, UCSF and Penn aren't great too, but i think we're doing a disservice by not consistently including yale with those programs. still wish i could have been there!!!!

Feeling like I messed up my rank list bad. I had Harvard, UPENN, UCSF as 1,2,3 out of 25 but then I made a last minute switch. I wanted to be close to home so went with UCSF. Am I going to be able to get a job ?

Are people rigging the rank list tally? For example, I thought it was said that UCSF only interviews 20 applicants so how are there more than that number in the tally?< I wondered about this as well. I remember a person who posted a while ago saying they had been changing comments by deleting words or adding phrases, so I would not be suprised if the psycho is at it again lol

lol people are legit arguing harvard vs ucsf vs stanford on this sheet where many people are scared they don't have enough interviews to match. the let them eat cake energy is strong on that one

I know this is in the WWYD but it was mostly around food haha. Can we talk about Harvard vs. Stanford? I feel like Harvard gets compared to UCSF a lot but how about Stanford?< I think Harvard x3 > Harvard in terms of complexity and diversity of cases since you rotate through so many different sites at Harvard.

To UCSF applicants - am i misremembering wrong program or did they say they would send out a google form in case we had more questions/wanted to connect to a resident to chat more? haven't gotten anything yet< i don't remember this...ok i must be remembering the wrong program lol.<maybe, but i may just not remember either. a lot of programs are bleeding together ar this point< pretty sure that was Stanford that offered this lol

I just wanted to warn you all that we must have interviewed at UCSF on different days because they were not a good fit for most people. Just warning so you guys can stop ranking them #1. Do not recommend.

I know you guys are tired of us talking about T10s. So sorry. But I want to know for peeps who interviewed at both UCSF and NYU... how did you make the distinction?? Tons of NYU #1's so I am a little curious.

Which T10 programs have historically done RTM calls (or equivalent)?<Stanford, UCSF, NYU<Yale, but they usually do it through residents)<<matched nyu resident here, can confirm i did not get a RTM call, and matched. they did not do them nor do they historically do them. this is false.
