For what’s its worth, I don’t think UCSF or penn have done any RTM calls or emails. This is trolling my friends

Fame & Shame
2025–2026 Derm
4 entries❌1. Elitist (to no one's surprise), and many faculty give preferential treatment to rotating medical students from more prestigious schools. As much as they emphasize being socially attuned and progressive, at the end of the day, they're just another ivory tower institution masquerading as a social justice warrior.
❌1. You don't actually HAVE to be a former pediatrician to apply for this and be considered. Wish I knew this earlier, I would have applied.
❌2. Interviewer made disparaging comments about where I went to school
💬1. It does say on their website "preferred but not required;" I wonder if they've taken applicants w/o previous peds residency. > guess we will find out soon > this is the first year of the track and it seemed like everybody was an MS4 during the interview +1

7. UCSF is malignant
Besides UCSF, did any other UC programs (Davis, Irvine, UCSD, UCLA) do RTM?
Did anyone rank NYU over UCSF, HMS, Penn or stanford??
^ over stanford maybe, but why would anyone rank it over UCSF...and certainl not over Penn unless your family is in NYC and you can't be 90 minutes away and therefore want a program that is, no question, less clinically/academically strong
How come everyone going hogwild over Penn/HMS/Stanford/UCSF/NYU but always leaves
What were people's thoughts on UCSF for those who interviewed there?
For people that got RTM calls from UCSF, care to share where they landed on your rank list?
UCSF went unmatched
I think I'll have to do a research year(s) - I heard the one at Stanford and the one at UCSF offer a good learning experience and mentorship, does anyone know though if they have a hx of matching fellows to Stanford and UCSF? Thanks!
Moderator this is so silly, but I clicked N for AOA tab and I am AOA. To have an accurate record for future years etc. can you delete the N by my box? 1st person on the UCSF list. Thank you so much!!
