Does anyone know the competitiveness of the peds derm track at UCSF? Was it super competitive this year? Regretted applying when I saw that they preferred applicants w/ peds residency after the fact. One of my biggest regrets of this whole process.

Are all the comments about ucsd not being diverse true? It is my dream program and have a slight in but I keep seeing they only value research and them not being diverse. I am interested in outreach and SOC and would love to do it in San Diego (so cal is home)
see if you get an interview first and then you can debate this when making your rank list.

Does ayone know the specifics of what makes NYU a 'workhorse' program? are the hours longer than usual? do residents see more patients per day? less academic time? I'm trying to understand the specifics lol >and for UCSF
specifically for UCSF, it's just that the volume is high so you're often leaving clinic around 5:30/6. Academic time is good (1-2 half days a week) and support is there. It's just the patients you're seeing are complicated and there are a lot of them

didn't geo signal, had no ties, got a couple of Cali interviews (but most of them I didn't get and this was noticeable compared to my interview rate in other regions). Likely valuable but strictly speaking not necessary
