Has anyone heard from research tracks or Med/Derm from Penn? Both websites say interviews 1st week January but doesn't seem they've extended anything yet
research interviews have already gone out
UPenn rejection x5
6 programs left... Anyone hear from St. Joseph's Mercy Livingston, Temple, UPenn Med-Derm, UT Health Science at Houston or either of the KCU programs (Mesa or Cuyahoga Falls)?
I spoke with a DO student during an interview, and she mentioned that St. Joesph's Mercy Livingston has already sent out invites, and that the PD said that only DO students will be interviewing.
Thanks for letting us know!
Penn Med/Derm also apparently released invites although no one has said they got one (called coordinator... historically they interview 2-3 people only and don't always fill the spot)
Temple recently got a new department chair. Maybe theyre still getting set up? It does seem pretty late though
During a separate prelim intv in Philly, the attending I interviewed with told me Temple dermatology was having accreditation issues so not sure of their status
could you please elaborate on the temple accreditation issues? i see nothing on the acgme site.
Sorry I don't know any details was just told that by an attending (don't know the validity of it but also don't know why he would have just randomly brought it up)
Anyone get Penn interview for 1/18? (not swap-wondering if they're sending out more interviews)
They're done per the coordinator (sent rejections on 12/15)
Did anyone end up getting a Penn interview for January 18th? This is not a swap request, just wondering because it's an official date but haven't seen anyone confirm.
I'm interviewing there on the 18th
Would you be willing to switch with me? I'm scheduled for the 11th but have a conflict. Willing to cover travel costs. Let me know by responding here. Thanks!
Why does this post start off with 'this is not a swap request' and then immediately become a swap request x2
Which programs are considered "malignant"?
U. x 10
someone clearly is bitter they didn't get a . interview...you'e probably the same person who keeps deleting the positive comments from the . interview impressions too.
someone can now fix it by logging in. whoever the troll is must now log in to continue trolling and then I will ban immediately.
Why were people deleting positive comments about UPenn and Duke?
Any RTM calls/emails recently?
As far as I know, the only programs who have done it are: UCSF, Yale, NYU, UPenn, NW. Am I missing any?| I thought NYU didn't?
Negative comments about UPenn continue to be removed and deleted...
Someone is intentionally posting negative comments about UPenn and copying negative comments from other interview impressions into UPenn. Very inaccurate info.
<--- That's a complete lie. Look at the last positive comment copied VERBATIM from Harvard's. Also, I posted a negative comment and literally like 30 seconds later some troll had changed it to a positive one.
All my comments have also been deleted from there
Someone has deleted this post 5 times: All my positive comments on there have also been deleted and changed to negative comments.
Negative comments in UPenn were changed to say the exact opposite thing. This has happened multiple times.
Anoni moose, could you please paste interview impressions if you have a sec?
done... the penn interview impressions is a mess.
Again Mods, my comments are continuing to be deleted. So if you can check the version histories and bring back the deleted comments (both here and interview impressions tabs), I'd appreciate it. Thanks!|
<-- 90% sure Derm Dermie is the person deleting negative comments about UPenn| I haven't deleted a single comment on this spreadsheet ever. Also, I'm signed in, so they can trace it back to me if I did.| The version and comment history is full of crap that no one can sort through it at this point. All I know is that negative comments have been censored for UPenn. I haven't deleted a thing. Remember the animals refresh randomly when the page loads.| Look at the last positive comment in UPenn. Someone copied it verbatim from Harvard.| I don't know what comment you're talking about because I don't see a verbatim copy of a comment.| I have no idea who's been doing that. I've contributed both positive and negative comments of every place I interviewed at. I have never changed or deleted anything.| But I agree, I hate this spreadsheet. I wonder if it was this bad in the past...
Is there a compilation somewhere of programs that will require a supplementary essay / other form to be submitted / etc?
I know Boston does, any others? Did Mayo email you regarding the supplement?
ohio state
MAYO DOES
UT-Southwestern and BU
U Conn?? Just got an email from them
Indiana, UMass
Thank you for the heads up!!! || UPenn has a supplementary questionnaire on their website
Anyone get the notification from UPENN today that your application is incomplete
No, how many letters did you have in at the time?
yes I did, I only had 2 LOR at the time waiting for 2 more, 1 came in today. They requested all LOR to be submitted by 10/1
I did- ALJ
Maybe it's because you havent done the supplemental survey on their website?
Stony Brook - As of 10/01/2016, this program is no longer accepting applications for the ERAS 2017 season. If you applied before this date, the program will be able to access your application. - Per ERAS... very interesting.
Maybe their deadline was today?
Did you just apply today and get this message? I got nothing...
A lot of programs have Oct 1 deadlines, not sure why anyone would wait this long to apply
If you search for stony brook in your "Programs Applied to" tab its written there
Penn and Yale say the same thing
They're also all NLA (No Longer Accepting applications) on the ERAS Participating Programs List.
Penn sent invites?| Just internal and Philadelphia area candidates
Some posts are shown because their comments mention this program.
I really wanted that date :(
