Has anyone received any emails from Mount sinai after interview? What is their policy for post-interview communication

what do people think about ohsu? i thought they were a bit intense, especially with their love for research < got the same feeling from Mount sinai which is very obsessed with research< longest interview day of my life. < like literally my bladder was about to explode when their chair still ongoing in the last session

Can people stop asking about Sinai < but all my homies love sinai < it is a great program, but the research vibe is so overwhelming (too much)

They have a lot of spots, so even if half go to internal candidates, that still leaves more open spots than most programs. She said that they take the fellows they like, but don’t take all the fellows. Also, Saudi spot isn’t a thing anymore and sinai students all get LORs < restored and protected the cell cause some asshole deleted it

best research fellowships/mentors? < For medical students or for MD only research fellowships? < i would love to head about the successful MD only research fellowships for people who didnt match the first time.... is it like sinai, NW, UCSF, UCD? < Mt. Sinai is probably best to match at Sinai. UCSF and NW would help best to match at other places not necessarily at UCSF and NW. < what about miami, or wu's fellowship? < i am looking at wu's page and he says all of his fellows have published 10 reviews and retrospective studies which sounds like torture but they have a good track record of matching medical students at least. doesnt look like as many MD fellows. < Jashin Wu used to be at Kaiser Perm Derm when that program started new but I don't think he's with them anymore. It looks like he mainly takes students now to help do his research. Likely unpaid. < oh ew, not doing anything unpaid ever again < If you do a research fellowship post MD those are almost always paid because you have something valuable you can get after USMLE Step 3 completion and internship completion: a full medical license < thank goodnessy
