💬1. I mean, it looks like Stanford is solid for giving spots to their research fellows. Recently gave a spot to an IMG that did a few years of dedicated research with them. I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing? Look at USC or UCLA with 99999 research fellows and none of them get serious consideration.

Anyone hear about RTM calls for stanford this year? let us know if you get one pls!<lol, who would announce RTM for a specific program on here? very few RTM go out, and if you are fortunate to get that notice, its with explicit instructions to tell no one

Does anyone know anybody who matched at Harvard, Penn, or Stanford with sub 250 Step 1 scores? Please forgive me for my insecurity, but I think the interviews I got were curtesy interviews. I made the mistake of googling some of the current residents and the ones I googled have public pages that have their Step scores (becuase they are Step tutors haha) and they're 260+ so I'm feeling like chances are not looking good. Anyone have any hopeful (or realistic) words to share? I'd be indebted.

fwiw, the top applicants this season have been seeing each other across most of these virtual interviews. newsflash, there's about 40-50 of them, accounting for regional bias, and they are the ones that can really compare an interview from stanford to one from harvard to ucsf to utsw, etc. if you don't don't have those kinds of options, follow doximity rankings or whatever other metric brings you joy. No one is trying to screw with your rank list here, only you can control that. The comments on this spreadsheet are just what would be happening in person in real-time if that were an option, probably with more honesty than otherwise possible.

Does anyone feel like they bombed their Stanford interview? :( Feeling so sad< dont feel bad, OP. I also did poorly on this one. It was so hard. Some questions were insane. I don't understand how people who are that nice can have such a hard interview.

Applicants from T 20 schools - if you have an interview to a T 10 derm program are you picking prestige that regular people are aware of (Harvard, Stanford) or going for fit with a less world famous name?
