❌1. Very fucking weird vibes while rotating there. Attendings are nice to your face, harsh behind your back. Residents (including chiefs) are talking shit about certain nurses. Everyone can be super cold (esp some of the nurses? idk maybe just a NYC thing). Residents ask you to do little personal errands not related to patient care.

Surprised by NYU not being ranked as highly (seemingly) as some of the other NYC programs>> No one is suprised why rank them higher when sinai starts clinic at 9 am and has subsidized housing. < nyu clinic also starts at 9am but yeah the salary is bad

why did nyu im play us like that...like NO ONE even got waitlisted there? < WDYM? < they sent an eras message saying invites would be released a couple of weeks ago along with waitlists and if you didn't get either you were rejected. < for prelim/TY or derm?? apparently they don't like derm applicants (?) < prelim, nyu im, and we have people on the spreadsheet that got invited to top IM programs so it's shocking that no one active on the spreadsheet, not even gold signaling applicants, got waitlisted
